Country Legend Claude Gray
"Family Bible", "I Never Had The One That I Wanted", "How Fast Them Trucks Go", "I'll Just Have A Cup Of Coffee", "Sweet Caroline" and more
Thursday & Friday ONLY!

Margie LeBlanc is a great traditional country singer, with a big, big voice.  She's a member of America's Old Time Country Hall of Fame and has graced the stages all over the South with many country legends.  She's joining us for the first time this year all the way from Onalaska, TX and we're really looking forward to having this dynamic entertainer with us all weekend.  She'll soon have many new fans in Wahoo and we hope you'll enjoy one of our favorite female singers and all around really nice person!

Jerry Stevenson looks like, performs like and most important sounds like George Jones.  He's Missouri's own version of the "Possum" and if you've never seen or heard Jerry before, you're going to love his style.  He's a great singer, a lot of fun and his sidekick and drummer, Jeanna Hall, is a great gal to.  We know you'll enjoy listening to Jerry sing all his favorite George Jones songs as well as other great country classics.  We're excited about your reaction to one of the best traditional country singers around the Mid-West today.  You're sure to be entertained by Jerry Stevenson.

Chelsea Beck is a 16 year old singing and yodeling champion from Kingfisher, Oklahoma. Chelsea is a Grammy winner with the Academy of Western Artists and also a yodeling champion with the Western Music Association. She has been featured in American Cowboy Magazine and was on an episode of the TV show "Texas Country Reporter". She enjoys performing with her Fiddlin' friend, Jake Simpson, and they have become a hit at festivals all over the United States. Chelsea joins us again this year along with her Fiddlin' friend, Jake.  Please make them welcome and enjoy this extremely talented duo again this year.

Fiddlin' Jake Simpson as mentioned above will be with us again this year doing shows with his friend Chelsea Beck and others.  Everyone's a fan of Fiddlin' Jake.  This amazingly talented young man, only 16 years old, has a gift for entertaining and he's an experienced pro having been doing it for several years already.  Jake will have several of his own performances during the show and I'm sure you'll find him sitting in with his extended musical family and friends every chance he gets.  He's an extraordinary young man and we're so happy he's able to join us again this year.

Milton Wooldridge is a terrific songwriter and singer and is coming all the way from Athens, Alabama to join us again this year.  Not only does Milton have a rich, deep, emotional voice, but his songwriting is so sincere and creative we know you'll enjoy getting to know our good friend from the South.  He's got some great recordings available and he's been in the business for a long time.  He's a member of The National Traditional Country Music Hall of Fame and we want to make sure you show him a great time again at this year's Wahoo Country Music Show.  He's one of last year's crowd favorites.

The Great White Possum String Company will join us again for their third year.  They come from the Kansas City area and have been playing their style of bluegrass together for over 30 yearsLead by Don Hupp, who is a great singer/songwriter and entertainer, this is sure to be one of your favorite acts again.  The rest of the band, Gary Gray on Banjo, Mike Weaver on Mandolin, Mark Pursell on Flat-top and Bill Norton on Bass are a great bunch of guys that love entertaining and are serious about their bluegrass.  You might watch out for a little practical joking from this group as you just never know what kind of crazy ideas they may come up with next.  Don't miss their performances all weekend.

Lorene Clark and Laurentian Divide are also returning to our festival this year, and boy are we looking forward to
having them with us again!  Lorene must know a million tunes from the traditional bluegrass and old time country genre.  When you add her multi-talented band, Laurentian Divide, to the show, you've found a group of terrific people, great entertainers and friends.  We're really looking forward to seeing their return, Lorene Clark with Pam Kolupailo on Rhythm, Noel Holloway on Bass and Curt King, Dobro Master and terrific entertainer!  Don't miss the several shows they'll be performing all weekend!

Other first time entertainers we're excited to have with us this year include, Jerry Brown and Jerry Virden both from Iowa and many more as June approaches.

Other favorites expected to return in 2009 include an incredible line-up of talent like Terry Smith, Curt Shoemaker, Bill Craven, Charley Groth, Eldon Hardekopf, Bobby Awe & KWMT's Dale Eichor, Lorraine Worth, Larry Dean with Perfect Strangers Band, Midnight Riders, Kenaston Family Band, Jerry Neeman, Rick & Harriette Andersen, Special Blend, Jim Barnes, Jackie Shewey, Ernie Ruth, Jr. Wittstruck, Jerry Porter, Francis Hahn, World Famous Mark & Dave Show, BlueGrassFire, Charlie Reece, Mike Behnk, Heartland Country Band, Pat Boilesen, Jay Kelly, Lester's Choice, Bailey Wilton, Alexa Whipple, Smokey Smith, Bob & Sheila Everhart and many of your other Wahoo Country Music Show favorites.
